Abstract

 The validation of an industrial measuring instrument consists of testing its characteristics related to accuracy, precision, linearity, percentage of error,
 and others. The research project for the design and construction of an in line alcohol degree determiner for the production of pisco, developed by the University of San Martín de Porres (USMP) in cooperation with the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), resulted in four prototypes that went through the process of validation of a measuring instrument. These tests were carried out at the CIPRI pilot plant of the Professional School of Industrial Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture of the USMP
