Transhumanism, overcoming of the human: analysis from the perspective of philosophy and virtue ethics

Abstract
This is an analysis that raises transhumanist or posthumanist thought, as a new self-perception of human nature in the light of authors such as Habermas, Sandel, Ferry, Leuridan and others. The method used is a descriptive documentary study, the approach is qualitative, with a marked axiological character. In the first part, the concern of Jenifer Doudna, 2020 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, is presented, followed by the positions of other postmodern philosophers and thinkers, continuing with an exposition of a possible referential theoretical framework to conclude with some
guidelines or principles of reflection to be taken into account. into account when legislating or developing this issue such as: centrality of the human person; unity of life; life as a fundamental value; freedom –responsibility and solidarity– subsidiarity.
